I tried for a long time to create perfect lines and curves with my acrylic painting. It's a lot more difficult than it seems! I was always fighting the painting or fighting the painting surface. The colors I used often required multiple coats of paint to get the opacity I needed. I could never get the straight line I wanted, or the beautiful curve I was hoping for.
A few years ago I decided to try every technique I could think of to get the look I wanted. Since then I've come up with a couple of different techniques that almost guarantee me a beautiful line every time.
I'm looking to create a course showing all of these techniques. If this is something you are interested in, please enter your email address (as well as any comments below). I'll be using all that info to decide if/how to move forward with the course.
- Why it can be hard to get this particular acrylic painting look.
- Different techniques to create sharp lines and smooth curves, using pretty-much any acrylic paint brand.
- How different surfaces affect your ability to get a sharp painting.
- Time-saving tips and when to use them.
